The program aims to provide participants with a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of development planning and management practices in the mining sector within a range of international and national contexts. The course will be hosted by the School of Earth and Environment at The University of Western Australia.
This course will introduce you to geographical information systems (GIS) in the resources sector. It will address the introduction and review of GIS in geology/environmental science, geographic analyses, remote sensing, spatial statistics, GIS data acquisition and storage, and GIS (geology) data standards.
|This four week course explores Occupational Health and Safety leadership in the resources sector. You will be working on activites that will assist you to address OHS systems, hazards and risks, emergency responses, regulatory frameworks, ergonomics, environmental management, and safety leadership and culture.|
